- Hi DSP freaks:
-
- Thanks for your interest in our programs for the DSP-12.
-
- This are strongly based on the good work of Jarkko Vuori OH2LNS, who provided
- the algorithms, we just provided the 'porting' to the DSP-12.
-
- Every program we have done for the DSP-12 , have the same user instructions.
-
- We have our DSP-12 units with all options installed (1 Mb RAM, clock, etc),
- so despite it probably works without this options , we assume that the
- hardware is the same as ours.
-
- All the programs work via HF port, but could be easily changed to any other
- port, so Audio IN and OUT by default, is done via the corresponding pins
- on this port.(Changing port could be done in the V40 Debugger).
-
- All you have to do for running the programs is:
-
- -Go to the DSP-12 main menu option '9' = Setup.
- -Go to the sub menu option '9' = Debugging.
- -Go to the sub sub menu option 'B' = Start DSP56001 Debugger.
- (You sould have 'DG56>' as prompt).
- -Type 'D' for download.
- -At this point you can start uploading the code for the DSP56001 from your
- terminal program, using Xmodem or Ymodem.
- -By the way the programs you can 'upload' and run into the DSP56001 part of
- DSP-12 are files with '.LOD' extension. (Example: NOTCHER.LOD).
- -Once the program is uploaded you should have the 'DG56>' prompt again.
- -Then type 'g 0' and you are done, the DSP56001 is running your program.
-
- As the audio you get out from the DSP is not enough for driving a loudspeaker
- you can heard it with high impedance hearphones, but the most practical way
- is to feed it to a small 'walkman' type audio amplifier or something like
- that.
-
-
- If you downloaded the DSP12S.ZIP file from Compuserve Hamnet LIB 5, in the
- case of the spectrum analyzer you must feed the output from DSP-12 to
- a scope set to 1 ms time base and 0.5 V/Division in order to see the spectrum
- of the incoming signals.
-
- Hope to be helping for you and remain QRV for further comments, etc.
-
-
- Best 73's.
